The AZ Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America are holding their 6th Annual Veterans Poker Run. Pre-registration until March 15th @ Tucson H-D. $15 single $25 double. Meal included at end of ride.

Registration the day of ride $20/$30.

Starting location American Legion Post 36, 5845 E. 22nd St., Tucson. Ride will end @ Tucson H-D with an after PARTY. Cold Beer, food, raffle prizes, 50/50 drawing, and Live Music by FIVE WAY STREET.

High Hand $300 and Low Hand $200. Ride and after PARTY will benefit AZ Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America.

B.A.C.A Charity Ride March 12th

After our monthly breakfast ride several of us made our way over to the Bikers Against Child Abuse Ride (B.A.C.A.)  Those that made the ride were Mike Stoddard, Dave Lehman, Stan Thibaut, Steve & Bonnie Mathews, Mike Martin and myself.  The ride started @ Merles Auto Parts on Dodge Blvd and ended at the Marine Corp League on 29th St.  The ride took us all over the Tucson area even out toward Saguaro National Park.

They offered a great Bar-B-Que dinner after the ride.  They had lots of silent auction items as well as raffles, and of course the 50/50 and high hand and low hand.  Unfortunately yours truly must be losing his touch since I did not win a thing.  High hand was four of a kind.  Best I could come up with was an Ace high straight.  Since my Gold Wing was in the shop I had to ride on four wheels but that did not stop me from getting my wheels washed by the bikini girls.

While they did not ride in the poker run both Patti Thibaut and Silva Stoddard showed up after the ride.

Presented by Thunder Mountain Moose Riders.  All proceeds benefit Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT) and Moose Heart.   Breakfast from 8am till 10am.   Registration from 8 to 11 am. $15 single $20 double. Poker run.   High hand $200 Low hand $150.   Live Band from 4pm till 8pm.   Drink specials and Burgers and Brats after the Run. Come out and Ride for a Great Cause!!!

Presented by Sun Riders M/C.   Benefits Aviva Children’s Services.   Pre-Party is from 1pm-6pm at the Holiday Inn on Palo Verde.   If you registered for the parade on 12/12, you will be able to pick up your pre-registration packets.   Come and hangout with us and with your fellow riders the day before the parade!  Great food and drinks.  Food and drinks will be sold there.  Live music. 50/50.  Vendors.   Kids are welcome to come.   Bring the family. 1pm

Presented by Cochise County Choppers & Marine Corps. League   Toys For Tots.   Benefits FBoys & Girls Club of Bisbee.  This year, we are PROUD to announce that we have partnered with the Marine Corps. League, for this toy run. So this will be an official Toys for Tots Run!  Registration (& breakfast) is at Cochise County Choppers from 10:00am-12:00pm.  Kickstands up @ 12:15pm.   Bisbee PD will be escorting all riders, for a beautiful ride through Bisbee.   Then down to the La Ramada Bar & Grill for the after party!   For those who can not join us in the ride, but want to be at the after party…. LaRamada Bar & Grill 1948 S. Naco Hwy. Bisbee Az.   It is free to attend! We will have vendors, swap meet, DJ Mata, live band, a jump house for the kids, food drinks, etc.   This is a family event, so bring the kids!!!   Vendors.   Call us for more info.   Vendor space will be $20.00 per 10×10 space. 10am.

Presented by Oasis Masonic Lodge #52.  Benefits Bikes for Books, Children at Risk and various other charities.  This year’s event promises to be even better then the past nine successful years, where rider-ship and vendor participation has grown steadily.  The run will include approximately 100 scenic miles around Tucson. Prizes Include: $200.00 – PRIZE HIGH HAND $100.00 – PRIZE LOW HAND 50/50 RAFFLE & DOOR PRIZES Registration/Poker Run Starts At OASIS 52 Lodge (Between Broadway And Speedway Near 5th And N. Pantano). Registration: 8:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M.  Poker Hand Called: 2:00 P.M. Pre-registration $13.00 per rider. $12 per rider for a group of 5 or more. $15.00 per person at the door.
