We had a pretty good turnout for our May breakfast ride to the Vail Steakhouse. Even four of our members who just got back from the SWC made breakfast after a grueling 110 degree ride back home to Tucson. Those who were at breakfast were; Stan, Alan & Susan, Frank & Kate, Paul & Debbie, John Falzone, Ed, Al, Bruce, and our newest member Ken McCoy. Ken is retired from Pima Cty. Here are a few pictures.

WOW what a great turnout we had for our April dinner ride @ Famous Dave’s. Sixteen members and family made it a memorable night. Those who made the ride were; Bear & Robi, Rev & Antje, Alan & Susan, Stan & Patti, Mel & Marsha, Bruce & Bonni, Jim, Al who brought along a potential new member Mike Lehnus, and of course yours truly. The April dinner ride will be at Famous Dave’s located at 4565 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705 (520-888-1512). We have a reservation at 6pm in case anyone wishes to get there early but the official start time is the usual 6:30pm.
The 2016 Southwest Police Motorcycle Training Competition benefiting the Special Olympics will be held in Tucson on April 22 – 23 @ Park Place, 5870 E. Broadway Blvd. Friday the 22nd is a practice day and Saturday the 23rd is competition. The times are 9 – 5.

On Saturday April 9th the following people met at the Sky Rider Cafe @ Marana Airport for breakfast, Bud, Rev, Frank & Kate, Bruce & Bonni, Stan, Russ, and yours truly. After breakfast Stan, Bud, Russ and myself went to Kitt Peak. I made it to the base but didn’t ride up due to my neck issues.

Friday, April 15th – Sunday, April 17th 55th Annual Yuma Prison Run will meet at the Yuma County Fairgrounds – 2520 E 32nd St, Yuma, AZ 85365. Sign in starts at 10:00 A.M. and closes on Saturday at 5:00 P.M.
Donation: Adults $30 at the gate, Ages 7-12 $15 at gate and 6 and under Free. There will be live music & dancing featuring The Sam Morrison Band & Tommy and The Drifters, family bingo, bike games, 50/50 drawing, ride-in-bike show, and Victor McLaglen Motor Corps & Drill Team.
There will be an escorted procession to the Territorial Prison Museum. Saturday’s dinner BBQ is chicken/tri-tip. Families are welcome. Tent and open air camping is included with your paid donation. Motor-homes and RV’s will be placed in a separate area with separate drive-in entrance @ no extra charge.
All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Run pins guaranteed to the first 2500 entrants.
