Our February breakfast will be at the Vail Steakhouse. This month due to the chilly weather we will meet @ 9:00 am. Starting in March we should go back to our normal 8:00 am. meeting time.

Stan has made reservations @ Club 21 on N. Oracle Rd for our January Dinner Ride. This sounds like a nice Mexican style restaurant. Dinner is @ 6:30 pm. Below is a link that gives you a description of the restaurant.

Our January Breakfast ride will be at the Old Times Café on W. Prince Rd. Several members have requested that we go back there. After breakfast Stan has a ride planned for those who may be interested. Stan is also asking for suggestions for future chapter rides between 2 -4 hours, or all day rides. The meeting time is 8:00 am. on January 12th.

The Veterans Tribute Ride and Family Festival to benefit the USO will be held on Saturday November 10, 2012. Celebrity bikers Mike Broomhead and Tim and Willy will be leading the ride in honor of our veterans. This could be a chapter ride for those wanting to go. We could still do the breakfast ride and/or go directly to Glendale. For more information go to: Tribute Ride.

Our October Dinner ride will be at the Thunder Canyon Brewery located in the Foothills Mall on Tuesday October 30th. If you are not familiar where the mall is it is located at 7401 N. La Cholla Ave. Meeting/dinner time is 6:30 pm as always.

The Breakfast Ride on October 13, 2012 will be at the Hummingbird Café, 7002 E. Broadway at 0800 hours. This is on the southwest quadrant of Kolb and Broadway, adjacent to the All American Barbershop. The barbershop is run by retired Tucson motorcycle officer Jim Bonnie. The café is run by his wife Jana.

The 2013 SWC will again be at Big Bear Lake from June 5 – 9. Many of you will remember that we had our 2007 SWC at Big Bear. Well the Northwoods Resort is again our host hotel and they are giving us the 2007 rates of $89 for our rooms on Thursday and Friday and $99 for Saturday and Sunday. Those of you who went before will remember the great time and many great rides. Believe me this is truly a great place to have our SWC. The 2013 International Convention will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas July 14 – 19, 2013. It will be hosted by BK AR IV. Registration for the full week is $95. You can fill in your registration HERE online and print it out to mail in. This form is in PDF format but you can fill it in on-line.
The host hotel is the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa. Room rates for the Arlington are $92 for single $102 for double.
