That is when the Memorial Fund will formally break ground on the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC and construction on the 55,000 square foot, mostly underground museum begins. Supporters of law enforcement will have two opportunities that day to celebrate this milestone:

  • A Groundbreaking ceremony at 11 AM at the future site of the National Law Enforcement Museum, adjacent to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Judiciary Square.
  • A black-tie gala that evening at the National Building Museum, also adjacent to the Memorial.

The Memorial Fund encourages all friends and supporters to join us on October 14, 2010, and help write an important new chapter in the history of American law enforcement. Complete details can be found on our Groundbreaking website.

Presented by Catalina VFW Post 4903. Registration 11am to 1pm. Last hand pulled not later than 4pm. Open to all bikes and all groups. $6.00 per person/$10.00 per couple. Stops and card pulls in order: VFW 4903, Kolb Road Tavern, Territorial Bar, R Place Bar, VFW 4903. BBQ Ribs and all the fixins available from 4pm to 7pm. Proceeds from BBQ sales go to VFW National Home for Children. 11am.

Presented by ALR District 2. Benefits 9-11 Traveling Memorial.  September 11, 2010.  Registration starts at 11 am, first bike out at 1 pm, last bike out at 3 pm, breakfast available from 9 am. at Legion post 7.  DJ music.  Last bike in 6 pm at Legion post 109 for bike night, live music, vendors, 50/50, food and drink.  Admission: $15/$10. 11am.  Ride starts @ American Legion #7.

We are trying out a new idea.  If this works out with a good turnout we will alternate between the eastside and westside every other month.  We are going to have Septembers breakfast ride @ The Village Inn on Northwest side of Oracle Road just south of Orange Grove.

This two day event will focus on anything with a motor… from RVs to Motorboats, Dragsters to Helicopters; this will be the premiere family event in Tucson with something for everyone. Great food, live music and kid’s activities are just part of the Tucson Motor  Show so join us on Labor Day Weekend 2010 with some of the best classic and antique cars, truck and motorcycles both locally and nationally. Just of few of the exciting elements to expect at the 2010 Indoor Tucson Motor Show. Show starts Saturday from 10am – 8pm and Sunday from 10am – 5pm. $6 at the door, Kids 10 and under FREE. American Veterans Traveling Tribute & the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association are hosting a signature event showcasing the patriotism that makes our country great!

Join motorcycle enthusiasts and patriots that are coming from across the nation to celebrate freedom and help raise postage money for Operation Gratitude as they prepare to send over 100,000 care packages this year to our deployed troops. LHC Patriot days will take place  from 15-26 September 2010 with ten days of events and activities for all ages!

Enjoy Daily Guided Rides from September 20-24 that will take you various scenic and tourist destinations to include Hoover Dam, Bluewater Casino, Route 66 and the Hualapai Mountains. Rides will depart from  Rider Headquarters   The Nautical Inn Resort – each morning at 7:00AM . Rides will be guided by different hosts each day to include Pastor Z, Founder of Bikers for Christ.

The centerpiece of this event will be the Cost of Freedom Tribute which includes the traveling Vietnam Wall, a gold dog tag tribute to all the men and women who have given their lives in the Global War on Terror, and several other displays that honor, respect, and remember the men and women that fight for the freedom we celebrate.

Join the motorcycle escort of the Traveling Tribute as it moves from Kingman, AZ to the event site in Lake Havasu City to signify the kick off of this great event! All escort participants need to meet at 12:00pm at Mother Road Harley in Kingman AZ (2501 E Beverly Ave. Kingman, AZ 86401).

Looking for a Rally?  Take part in the God, Country, and Freedom Rally that will occur on Friday, September 24th!  Pastor Z of the Bikers For Christ and Rushing Wind Ministry will be the keynote speaker along with other speakers from the local and national stage. The speakers will include Veterans, Military, Police, Fire fighters and other American Heroes. Also featured will be family members of those serving, sharing their stories, their pain and their joy.

Patriot Days will also have scheduled events every day from Daily Honor ceremonies and tributes, Parades, 5k runs,  Mohave County Fair, Patriot Bowling, Patriotic Cinema Film Classics and much, much more.
