The Arizona Centennial Ride is officially in high gear with the mascot for the entire Centennial being a motorcycle and the culminating high profile event will be the Arizona Centennial Motorcycle Ride led by the Copper Chopper and Dierks Bentley. The ride will take place on Saturday, February 11th, 2012, will begin at Mesa Riverview located at the Loop 202 and Dobson Road in Mesa, AZ, 1061 N. Dobson Rd., and conclude at the state capitol. There will be a Live Band in the street, food and drink, which will be available at Cactus Moon and Matta’s as well as a huge food and beer garden in the roundabout.

The ride will cover approximately 15 miles, will be police escorted by DPS, Mesa, Tempe, and Phoenix PDs. The route will travel West on the Loop 202 to I-10 through downtown Phoenix, past Chase Field, and West on Jefferson Street to the state capitol where we will end at the Centennial Best Fest featuring a performance by Dierks Bentley. This will absolutely put a rumble in Downtown Phoenix like they have never heard before.

The cost for the ride is $25 per person, which includes participation in the ride, a commemorative t-shirt, a ride pin, and one (1) ticket for the drawing to win the AZ Copper Chopper. The t-shirt and ride pin will be in limited quantity so you will want to pre-register to guarantee that you get these collectible items. Once they are gone that is it. There will be a very cool patch that will be available to purchase at registration.

Registration will be from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. in Mesa Riverview on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Please plan to check in at registration with a photo ID or print this confirmation email and bring it with you the day of the ride.

You will be asked to sign a liability waiver prior to receiving your commemorative t-shirt and pin. You will receive a confirmation of your AZ Copper Chopper ticket in a separate email. We also ask riders to arrive at least an hour before the start of the ride so that we may process everyone on time before the Ride begins

You can register on line to make sure that you get your items that will be picked up the day of the ride. This would make a perfect stocking stuffer or Christmas gift for the rider in your family. Go to:

Arizona Centennial Ride for more information and to register online. This will be a huge one-day motorcycle event that will be high energy, lots of motorcycles, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to ring in 100 years of statehood for the 48th state in the nation.
